ECLSTS 2008 SEMINARS
Mar 12, 2008, 04:51
Seminars for the 2008 ECLSTS at York, PA.
There is one BIG CHANGE for the seminars for the 2008 ECLSTS. After listing to the concerns from the presenters and the participants about the noise level, bad lighting/too much sunlight coming through the curtains, and too many interruptions from the PA with announcements. It was decided to find a ROOM that was closeable and more control of the lighting and noise level. So the past several months we have been in search of that room. Every building is rented the weekend of the ECLSTS but the Fair grounds people were able to find us a room in ANOTHER BUILDING. The room is in the First Aid / Fire Station. It is about 100 yard out the front doors and to the left. It is right before you come to the TOYOTA ARENA but NOT IN the Toyota building. It is a building right before the Toyota building. Maps will be available at the ticket booth on how to find this building. The announcements about the times of the seminars will be posted throughout both Memorial halls with a map printed on the announcement/schedule of the seminars. After this years show, we will evaluate how well the seminars went in the other building. (Many of us attend other events at the fairgrounds throughout the year and have to walk to and from the buildings on the grounds to get to some of the vendors at those shows.)

12:00 NOON BVRR Specialties 30 Minutes BVRR Specialties has developed a highly efficient product to store large scale rolling stock, including heavy locos. This storage system is suitable for virtually ALL No.1 gauge scales including: 1:20.3, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:29 and 1:32. This system will accommodate ALL these scales even if they are mixed and matched. The system consists primarily of an MDF (medium density Fiberboard) deck with 45mm flangeways on appropriate centerlines. Although the decks are available individually in a number of widths and depths, the best way is to utilize them with the easy to assemble (no nuts, bolts or clips) framing system fabricated from 16 gauge, pre-painted, cold-rolled steel. This system is economically priced and is suitable for indoor storage at home, garage, shed, barn, etc.
